Webster in for Polak

Paul Gough 12:00 AM Fri 15 September, 2006
Graham Polak is a late withdrawal for Fremantle for Friday night's second semi final against Melbourne at Subiaco. The key position player, who also missed last week's qualifying final against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium after injuring his elbow in the final round against Port Adelaide, was replaced in the Dockers side by Luke Webster. However it is believed Polak was fit to play on Friday night but the Dockers chose to replace him with the smaller Webster to give the side more run. Melbourne made no late changes with Nathan Jones, Matthew Bate, Adem Yze and Nick Smith, who is playing his first game for three years, named on the starting interchange bench. The Dockers starting bench was Byron Schammer, Brett Peake, Shaun McManus and Ryan Murphy.
