DIGITAL MEDIA OFFICER VACANCY 
(One year parental leave contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, hard working and passionate individual to join our Media and Communications team as the Digital Media Officer in a fixed term capacity to cover a period of parental leave.
 
In this role you will be responsible for driving Fan Engagement through the coordination of the club’s Digital Media strategy and delivery across all platforms including social media as well as assisting to grow our online fan base by keeping the website content contemporary, creative and engaging.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills supported by qualifications and / or experience in Digital Media or a related field.  You will have a proven knowledge of digital media trends, technology and best practice and an ongoing commitment to keeping up to date across these areas.

The ability and willingness to work on game days throughout the football season and out of hours at other club events is essential.

OFFICE ASSISTANT VACANCY – Part Time (30 hours / week)

Fixed term – One Year Parental Leave Contract

The Fremantle Dockers are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual to join their Human Resources team in the part time role of Office Assistant.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide general office administrative assistance to the club as a whole with a specific focus on providing support and general assistance to the HR team in HR administration and recruitment tasks and confidential filing.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role and will be very happy to contribute to a hard working team and will be more than willing to help others at all times.   You will be very professional in your appearance and conduct and will be proactive in looking for ways to improve efficiency in the way things are done.

The position is part time at 30 hours a week but is required to be in the office each day.  It may suit a candidate wishing to work school hours as suggested hours are 9am to 4pm with 1 hour break for lunch (or a slightly later start or earlier finish if a 30 minute lunch break is preferred).  This will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

The ability and willingness to work on game days throughout the football season and out of hours at other club events is essential.

DIGITAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER VACANCY
(One year parental leave contract)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an extremely driven, motivated and hard-working person to join our Media and Communications team as the Digital Media and Public Relations Manager in a fixed term capacity to cover a period of parental leave.  

In this role you will assist the General Manager of Media and Communications for the club and manage a team of media and communication specialists to ensure the effective production and delivery of content across all media platforms and publications for the Fremantle Dockers.

The ideal candidate will have extremely accomplished written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills supported by previous experience managing a team of staff and interacting with executive level managers.  You will have qualifications and / or experience in either the Digital Media or Public Relations fields, a proven knowledge of digital media trends and an understanding of the sports media industry.

The ability and willingness to work on game days throughout the football season and out of hours at other club events is essential.  You must also be willing and able to travel interstate if required.
