Content Producer - 12 months fixed term (with possibility of extension)
An opportunity has arisen for an extremely motivated, hard-working and experienced Content Producer to join our busy Media and Communications team.
In this role you will have primary responsibility for all of the club’s written content, both online and for print publications delivered in a timely and accurate manner and to strict deadlines.
This will include social media match day coverage as well as print publications such as Docker magazine and the club’s annual Year Book.
There will be involvement in preparing and conducting interviews with players, coaches and other key personnel and from time to time you will be involved in video production and photography.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in journalism or a related area and have experience preparing quality written content for websites and/or print publications. You will have a track record of generating social media content and have a working knowledge of AFL and a keen interest in the sport.
The ability and willingness to work out of hours on game days and other club events is also essential.
All applicants are required to submit a portfolio of work including up to a maximum of five (5) pieces produced by them and published on any medium – digital, TV, radio or print.
