FAIRFIELD, OH - The Cincinnati Dockers Australian Rules Football Club has officially announced its schedule for their 15th anniversary season. The season starts with an event in Louisville, Kentucky on 14 May, and concludes on the weekend of 8 and 9 October with the USAFL National Tournament in Austin, Texas.

2011 will have a different schedule format from past seasons, as most of the matches the Dockers will attend will be in the form of round-robin tournament matches. These tournament matches will each consist of two 20-minute halves.

The first of these tournaments will be on 14 May in Louisville, Kentucky, where the Dockers will meet their historic rivals, the Louisville Kings, as well as the St. Louis Blues.

On 11 June, the Dockers will travel to Madison, Wisconsin, where they will be one of five teams competing. Joining the Dockers in Madison will be the Minnessota Freeze, Chicago United, the Des Moines Roosters, and the host Milwaukee Bombers.

Following that, on 23 July, the Dockers will return home to Point Pleasant Park in Fairfield, where they will host the Milwaukee Bombers, and their in-state rivals, the Columbus Jackaroos.

Next, the Dockers head to Kansas City on 6 August for their final tournament of the season before nationals. This tournament will also feature the Des Moines Roosters, the Dallas Magpies, and the Kansas City Power.

Cincinnati's regular season continues with two full-length matches. The first will be on 27 August, when they travel to Columbus, OH to once again challenge the Columbus Jackaroos.

Following that, the Dockers will conclude their regular season, again in Louisville, Kentucky on 17 September, when they face the Louisville Kings in a match which will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Australian Rules Football in the United States. All of this will conclude with the USAFL National Tournament, to be held this year in Austin, Texas.

The Dockers have enjoyed much success in recent years at this event, holding an overall record of 11-3 in the past three national tournaments.

Cincinnati will hold their first practice for this season at 10am on 2 April at Point Pleasant Park on Resor Road in Fairfield, OH. This practice is open to the public and we welcome new players.
