Highlight – Pearce announced his arrival as a Fremantle Docker in the first game of the season by kicking a team-lifting goal, which he celebrated extravagantly with his newfans.

Summary – Pearce gave the club what it drafted him for – a quick outside midfielder. He was one of only four players to appear in every game for Freo in 2013.

Finals

Qualifying Final –
20 disposals
Preliminary Final – 26 disposals
Grand Final – 17 disposals, 1 goal

Summary – Pearce was good in the club’s first two finals. His preliminary final effort was very strong, gathering 26 disposals and he was important in the qualifying final win in Geelong.

Outlook: Pearce came to the club considered an elite disposer of the football by foot, and while his kicking was very good all year, the 27-year-old has scope for improvement in 2014 after registering 60 per cent kicking efficiency in 2013. Having tasted defeat in a Grand Final for the second time in his career should also drive him to help Freo go one step further next year.
