Anthony Morabito and Clancee Pearce performed well at WAFL level on the weekend, putting their names in the selection discussion.

The clash with Port Adelaide at Patersons Stadium will decide fourth spot on the AFL ladder, guaranteeing the winner a double-chance in finals.

Morabito continued his consistent efforts at Peel Thunder with 25 disposals and a goal, while Pearce had 33 touches and took nine marks.

One player who has earned another game is this week’s NAB AFL Rising Star Matt Taberner.

‘Tabs’ received praise from Ross Lyon after his strong game in Brisbane on the weekend.

Nat Fyfe, Michael Barlow and Luke McPharlin won’t be available this week, while Matthew Pavlich will need to prove he’s recovered from the tight quad that forced his late withdrawal against Brisbane.

Lee Spurr was subbed out of that match and will also need to get through training this week.
