Tanner Smith
Tanner played on Ben Saunders for the game where he showed good signs in the one-on-one contests for the most part of the day. He bodied up well and spoiled in a number of occasions and showed good strength. He also looked to spread off his opponent at different times.

Tom Vandeleur
Tom defended well with some good starting points where he released his opponent into congestion and looked to roll off and help when he could. In a couple of occasions he put himself under pressure with his decision-making. Overall Tom is continuing to show some good signs of physicality and good bodywork.

Anthony Morabito
Anthony started in defence where he played on a variety of opponents. He was able to assist in locking the ball in the forward 50 and took a mark on exit through reading the cues well. There were a couple of occasions where he reacted quickly on the turnover to beat his opponent in one-on-one situations. Anthony came off in the second quarter after a knock to his knee but has pulled up okay.

Michael Apeness
Michael played forward opposed to Zac Strom. Whilst he didn’t have a big influence on the game he contested well in the air where he was able to bring it to ground and took a couple of good marks. Last weekend was the best he has kicked in terms of set-shot goals where he kicked three, but also missed an easy one. Overall it was a good contested game from Michael and he will continue to work on his leading patterns.

Kepler Bradley

He presented to three good positions where he wasn’t used when he was the best option. He suffered a leg injury but managed to play on in his last game for the club. Kepler has continued to demonstrate great effort and shown a lot of leadership throughout the season with our younger emerging players.
Max Duffy
Max played forward opposed to Jarrod Parry and looked dangerous around goal in the first term where he kicked three behinds. He flashed in and out of the game and had some really strong running numbers and sharp reaction to offensive transition where he was able to get to the fall of Michael Apeness’ contests and was part of a number of score involvements..

Michael Wood
Michael played forward and whilst he had minimal impact was involved early in a number of scoring chains through his run into the contest and staying close.  He took a good contested mark in the forward 50 which resulted in a set shot goal from a tight angle.

Jack Hannath
Overall it was an improved performance by Jack where he provided a more consistent effort over four quarters in the ruck and was a good forward option. He showed improved timing of leads as a forward and was quick to react and loop back to goal when not used. He also showed some competitive bodywork at stoppages and strong accuracy with his hits.

Jon Griffin
Jon played in the ruck and rotated forward with Jack Hannath. Jon provided an improved run around the ground with consistent involvement around ground level in contests and in general play.  He had an influence with his marking in the defensive half, where he positioned well to impact behind the ball marking twice and forcing three other contests to ground. As a ruckman Jon provided consistent controlled hitouts through aggressive bodywork at stoppages.
