Chris Mayne talks us through the final goal of the 20th annual Len Hall Tribute Match, which sealed the win against a fast-finishing Sydney.

With less than two minutes left on the clock, Mayne slotted the goal from about 35m.

“It all started with Garrick Ibbotson,” he said.

“The pressure was on the ball, the kick went inside and Garrick comes off his man and puts the fist through it.

“That’s what we expect.

“I just happened to be in the right position at the right time.

“I missed the last one, so I wanted to make up for it and put the game to bed."

Mayne finished with 2.2 and 12 touches.
