Michael Walters says Matthew Pavlich’s crucial three goals in Sunday night’s win over Brisbane was reward for hard work.
 
Pavlich had not hit the scoreboard since Round 9 before helping seal Fremantle’s 36-point win.
 
Walters said Fremantle needed to honour Pavlich’s leading work.
 
“It’s always good to see him get reward on the scoreboard,” he said.
 
“He works so hard, we’ve got to hit him up a bit more.
 
“I did that a few times, I went to Danyle Pearce when I should have gone to Pav.”

Walters said Pavlich worked hard off the ball, whether or not he was kicking goals.
 
“Credit to Pav he keeps his head above water and plays his role,” he said.
 
“If he is having a down and out night he’ll always get up to the next contest.”
