Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe has accepted a $1500 fine for engaging in rough conduct in Sunday’s loss to Hawthorn.

Fyfe was sanctioned for the incident involving Taylor Duryea during the first quarter of the match at Aurora Stadium.

Running with the flight in the opening quarter, Fyfe took his eyes off the ball and his forearm made contact with Duryea's face in an attempt to spoil.

The young Hawk was not injured and got up to take his kick at goal following a 50m penalty awarded for the high contact.

Fyfe is free to play in Saturday’s match against Carlton at Domain Stadium. Bounce down is at 5.40pm local time.
