A talented Greater Western Sydney team looms as a serious challenge for Fremantle on Sunday at Domain Stadium, according to Ross Lyon.

Both teams will be looking for a vital win heading into the final few rounds with Fremantle fighting for a top four position while the Giants are outside the eight on percentage.

Lyon said GWS had regained some key players ahead of the clash.

Nathan Wilson, Phil Davis, Matt Buntine, Andrews Phillips, James Stewart and Will Hoskin-Elliott have been named on an extended interchange for the Giants.

“(Phil) Davis is back, (Joel) Patfull is back, there are pick one and twos running around everywhere in the midfield,” he said.

“We’re playing a very talented team.

Talking points ahead of GWS

“(Cam) McCarthy up forward and (they have) some great running backs.

“It’s going to be a really tough game.”
