Fremantle’s defensive stocks will be bolstered over the next week with the return of Michael Johnson and Alex Silvagni from hamstring injuries.

Fremantle sports science manager Jason Weber said both were in full training, with Silvagni available to play this week and Johnson likely next week.

“Sos (Silvagni) had some bad timing when he came back from his original hamstring injury and got a little bit sore after his first game,” he said.

“He would have played last week (if Peel did not have a bye) and he will certainly be available this week.

“Johnno is training really well

“He had a full session on the weekend with match simulation.

“We expect to see him up for selection next week.”

Nat Fyfe, who missed Sunday’s win over GWS with a groin injury, completed running drills on Wednesday but is listed as a test.
