Peel Thunder fell to West Perth by 17 points in wet conditions at HBF Arena on Saturday.

Peel currently sit fourth on the WAFL ladder and look to test themselves against this weeks opponent, South Fremantle, who currently sit on top of the WAFL ladder with six wins and one loss.

A number of Freo-listed players have been performing well for Peel Thunder, and this continued against West Perth in round nine.

Sam Collins
Played fullback and provided good contests in the air that brought the ball to ground and gave our running defenders a chance to rebound. He also pushed forward in general play and kicked a goal.

Ryan Nyhuis
Played back-pocket and did a his job in holding Max Duffy goalless. His composure with the ball was also good when rebounding from halfback.

Anthony Morabito
Played halfback and was going well until he injured his hamstring.

Tendai Mzungu
Played halfback and in the midfield and had a solid game. He competed hard and gave us some good rebound off halfback. 


Zac Clarke  
Played ruck most of the day and gave us first use of the ball from stoppages with his 33 hit outs.

Jack Hannath
Played forward and in the ruck and has been good for us over a number of weeks.

Ed Langdon
Played on the wing all game, his work rate was good and he used the ball well going into our forward line. 

Darcy Tucker
Played wing all game and had a solid performance. He worked hard throughout and used the ball well despite the wet conditions. He continues to work hard in attack and defence.


Clancee Pearce
Played a defensive midfielder role and worked hard inside the contest and successfully got the ball out to our runners. He used the ball well in tough conditions and ran hard.

Matthew Uebergang
Played forward and back. He played his role and gave us a contest both in the air and on the ground throughout the game.

Tanner Smith
Played forward and kicked two goals. He worked hard to give a contest in the air, brought our small forwards into the play with his effort, and continues to play his role well.

Josh Deluca
Played half-forward and continued to keep up his tackling pressure and run throughout the game.

Brady Grey
Played midfield and drifted forward at times. He hit the contest hard and provided his usual tackling presence, finishing with seven for the day.
