Stephanie Cain and Tarni Golisano have come into the Fremantle side to face Carlton in Friday's NAB AFL Women's clash at Domain Stadium.

Cain and Golisano have played four and two AFLW games respectively, and have been named on the bench alongside Demi Okely, Brooke Whyte, Stacey Barr and Belinda Smith.

The game is an important one for Fremantle, who are looking for their first win in the inagural competition with one draw from the opening five rounds.

Carlton sit third with three wins from five games, and are one win behind Adelaide and a spot in the top two.

Beatrice Devlyn and Akec Chuot have been named as Fremantle's emergencies.

Fremantle's AFL side will take on Carlton at 5.40pm WST, following the AFLW match. 

The squad of 27 has been named and will be narrowed to 24 on game day.
