Fremantle’s Next Generation Academy will head to the Peel and Midwest Regions this month to promote Australian rules football and search for the next generation of talent.

Fremantle will host talent days at Pinjarra Football and Netball Club on Friday 20 April and at Wonthella Oval in Geraldton on Friday 27 April.

NGA coach and former Freo Docker player Tendai Mzungu will oversee the clinics alongside representatives from the Peel and East Fremantle football clubs at their respective clinics.

The aim of the NGA is to identify and develop young talent, introduce the school and community football competitions and feed players into existing programs in WA.

The talent days will include fundamental skill development exercises, an introduction to athletic testing, small-sided games and education around the everyday habits of elite professional footballers.

Fremantle will continue to engage both the Peel and Midwest regions as the academy grows while promoting the game and working directly with young aspiring talent.

Registrations forms for the clinics can be found below and returned via email to ffcnga@fremantlefc.com.au.
