Midfielder Lachie Neale has been recognised as the best on ground by senior coaches Ross Lyon and Brendon Bolton in Fremantle’s 57-point win over Carlton on Saturday at Etihad Stadium.
Neale polled a maximum 10 votes in the 2018 Shadforth Financial Group AFLCA Champion Player of the Year for round 13.
He collected 33 touches, 7 clearances, four tackles while taking six marks and kicking three goals.
Six other Freo players collected votes, including 150-gamer Nat Fyfe (8) who now sits on top of the AFLCA leaderboard with 59 votes, 11 ahead of Tom Mitchell (Haw) in second place.
