Recruited from SANFL club Norwood where he played five senior games in 2011, Forster is a tall defender with elite kicking ability. A standout performer at the 2011 NAB AFL Under-18 Championships, the SA vice-captain showed an ability to shut down his opponent and provide effective rebound off half-back, earning All-Australian selection. Composed, has clean hands and uses the ball well on both sides of his body.
