Management Accountant

As the Management Accountant, you will be a senior member of the Fremantle Dockers Finance team and will report to our Finance Manager.

In this full-time permanent position, you will be well supported with strong leadership, development prospects and a supportive team environment.

Your primary responsibility will be the successful management of multiple cost centres and, the maintenance of the Club’s balance sheet, asset registers and monthly reporting needs.

Based at the Fremantle Dockers Elite Training and Administration Facility in Cockburn Central, you will have access to free car-parking, nearby shopping centre, public transport, discounted gym membership and a range of other benefits.

To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • A strong analytical mindset
  • An ability to partner with internal finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Estimate of 3-6 years’ experience within a corporate environment
  • Completed (or working towards) CPA/CA; and,
  • A keen eye for detail.

A knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains is advantageous however, not essential.

Graphic Designer

This rare opportunity will enable you to be the mastermind behind the creative face of the Fremantle Dockers.

We know that not everyone can be a Graphic Designer, so to be seriously considered for this role you will have the following:

Experience: At least 2-3 years Graphic Design experience with an agency or other major brand with a large focus on conceptualising and coordinating designs for traditional print, electronic and online media.

Education: Experience using and working with the Adobe Creative Cloud, such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. A basic understanding of html and CSS coding would be desirable.

Skills: You must be an excellent team player and listener with the ability to create graphic design material based on customer / team briefs. You also have incredible time management and organisational skills with the capacity to undertake and self-manage project work whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Characteristics: As this is a creative role, you must be able to gracefully receive criticism and feedback about your work.

As the Graphic Designer at the Club your engaging designs will entertain our members, supporters and partners to grow our brand, while responsible for:

  • Conceptualising, designing and delivering engaging and effective collateral to support our marketing campaigns for promotion and branding
  • Owning design briefs through each stage of the process with our internal teams to ensure they are completed to the best standard and within brand guidelines.
  • Keeping well-informed of technological and industry changes to include innovative
