Enjoy a double dose of watching Fremantle’s players in action this weekend, with both Peel Thunder and Fremantle lining up on opposite sides of the country on Saturday.
Peel Thunder will open the day of Freo footy with an 11.40am bouncedown against Claremont at Lane Group Stadium in Mandurah, before Fremantle take on Melbourne in their AFL clash at the MCG at 2.35pm WST.
Last weekend 13 Fremantle-listed players lined up for Peel, while WAFL teams are yet to be announced for this weekend’s clash.
The Fremantle v Melbourne game will be broadcast live on the big screens in the Platinum Room at Lane Group Stadium, as well as shown live on TVs in Sports and Members Bar.
Peel CEO Paul Lekias encouraged fans of both the Thunder and Fremantle to get down to Mandurah for a day out with the family.
“Our young team, including some outstanding up and coming talent from the Fremantle Football Club, would love to see as many supporters at Lane Group Stadium as possible as we take on one of the competitions benchmarks in Claremont,” Lekias said.
“Come and watch a great game of footy, then enjoy Fremantle v Melbourne on the big screens in the Platinum room after the game.”
Entry into Lane Group Stadium is $15, with people under 16 years of age to get in free!
