Fremantle are thrilled to announce that the club has set a new fundraising record for the annual Starlight Purple Haze Game, thanks to the generosity of their members, fans and partners.

The record total of $205,804 is the first above $200,000 and the highest amount raised since 2016.

Because of the generous support of the Freo faithful, Fremantle have raised more than $1.5 million for the Starlight Children’s Foundation since 2003, which helps brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

A big thank you goes out to all of the generous Freo fans who donated, as well as key supporters in the Dowson Family, The Sirens and Selby Lee-Steere.

The Sirens raised $15,000 at their high tea while the Dowson Family continued their amazing support with $75,000 raised at their annual fundraiser in Kalgoorlie.

Lee-Steere, a passionate Fremantle fan who won back-to-back AFL Fantasy seasons in 2017 and 2018, donated $42,427 with the money raised from his AFL Fantasy season guides.

Included in the total is the almost $30,000 raised by fans’ generous donations on the day.
