Following the success of Wharfie Draught, the Fremantle Dockers and Pirate Life have come together once again to brew up Purple Hazy, a pale ale beer created in celebration of the Club’s annual Purple Haze Game.

The can design captures the passion and pride of the Purple Army in honour of one of Fremantle’s most cherished games of the year and celebrates the Sea of Purple that the Purple Haze Game creates.

To make it even more special, Pirate Life will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every carton to the Freo Dockers' Purple Haze Game fundraising efforts.

Pirate Life Founder Michael “MC” Cameron was excited to raise money for a fantastic cause.

“Following on from the success of the Wharfie Draught, it’s very exciting to partner up with the Fremantle Football Club again, this time in support of Purple Haze Round," Cameron said.

"We see it as an amazing opportunity to showcase our beers while raising money for this fantastic cause."

Purple Hazy is now available exclusively in all WA Liquor Barons stores from Monday 24 April and available online from Pirate Life.

TASTING NOTES 
Purple Hazy is brewed to pack juicy fruit characters, so fans can expect aromas of tinned fruit and strawberries. It pours sunny yellow with a gentle haze.

To drink, it’s clean and refreshing, with well-integrated bitterness, and a fruity finish.

Malt: Pale Malt, Wheat Malt, GNO, Chit Malt
Hops: Citra, Strata, Rakau  
ABV: 5%

As well as being available from Liquor Barons, Purple Hazy will be available on tap at the below venues from Wednesday 26 April, in time to grab a pint while watching Saturday’s away game clash with Brisbane.
