Defender Clancee Pearce has put his hand up for selection after a strong return in the WAFL following an omission after Fremantle’s round 17 clash with Richmond.

Pearce tallied up 38 disposals during Peel Thunders 32-point loss to East Perth with 27 of those being handballs.

The consistent defender has been named twice on Fremantle’s extended bench over the past two weeks but failed to break into the final team.

Pearce has averaged 19.2 disposals this season along with a 2.4 tackle average.

The Freo Dockers will have a few selection options heading into their clash with North Melbourne with Zac Dawson returning from suspension and Luke McPharlin back from injury.

Fremantle will play the Kangaroos on Sunday, 23 August at Etihad Stadium.

Bouncedown is at 2.40pm (AEST).
