Walters a Mark of the Year finalist

Vote for Michael Walters' screamer! Michael Walters takes a Mark of the Year contender at Optus Stadium.

Michael Walters is a finalist in the 2018 Woolworths Mark of the Year competition for his screamer during the round 20 clash with West Coast at Optus Stadium.

Walters flew above West Coast’s Jeremy McGovern during the final quarter of the Western Derby and left his opponent with only a smile after bringing down one of the best marks of the season.

Vote now to help get Sonny over the line!

Brisbane’s Charlie Cameron and Sydney’s Isaac Heeney are the two other finalists.

How the voting works
The All Australian committee used a 5-4-3-2-1 voting system to narrow the nominations from all 23 rounds to the final three in each category.

Fans now have the chance to vote for their favourite.

The 10-member committee will vote on the overall winner, with the fan outcome counting as an eleventh vote.

The player who wins each award will receive $10,000 and be presented during Brownlow Medal night on Monday 24 September.
