Peel Thunder fell to Claremont by 19 points at Claremont Oval on Saturday.

Senior development coach Marc Webb runs through how the 15 Fremantle-listed players fared.

Stefan Giro
Played on ball and on the wing. It’s the first time Stefan’s been on ball this year and he worked hard from the contest to join in and help on some attacks. He had seven loose ball gets and had two shots on goal.

Tom North
Played on ball and also at half back in a change of role in the second half. He won plenty of the ball in the first half with 13 possessions, he then played a good defensive role in the second half at half back.

Brett Bewley
Played on the wing for the game. He continues to work between the lines on the wing. He had four clearances, giving Peel some cover and made a strong impact.

Bailey Banfield
Played across half back and went on ball in the second half. He was solid defensively in a different type of role for him. Bailey also pressured well with seven tackles and gave Peel some drive in the final quarter on the ball.

Mitch Crowden
Played on ball and forward for the game. He was Peel’s main clearance player with five clearances and his pressure with 15 tackles was elite. He was solid with his body work and use of the ball.

Lachie Schultz
Played forward for the majority of the game. He kicked 1.1 and, as usual his pressure was good. He continues to release forward and he kicked a good goal.

Jason Carter
Played half forward this week in a change of role.  He showed some good signs with his speed and pressure around the contest and was able to lock the ball forward in the second half to give Peel some opportunities.

Griffin Logue
Played back for the game. He was strong in his one-on-ones, he had seven marks with four contested in a good performance in his second week back from injury.

Travis Colyer
Played on the wing and on ball. He started slowly on the wing but grew into the game later when he went on ball. He had three clearances and kicked a goal.

Tobe Watson
Played back for the game. His one-on-one efforts to spoil and follow up have been a feature of his performances in the past few weeks.

Cam McCarthy
Played forward for the game. It was a tough first half for the forwards with limited opportunity and Cam also pinch-hit in the ruck and helped when Sean Darcy went out of the game.

Hugh Dixon
Played forward where he took a strong contested mark. His follow up and work rate have been improving and he kicked a good goal.

Scott Jones
Played the majority of the game in the ruck, finishing with 34 hitouts and four clearances. His hit and pressure around the ball was good and he stepped up when Peel lost Sean Darcy in the first quarter.

Luke Valente
Played on ball for the game. His body work and hit was solid, he ended up with three clearances and was able to push forward and hit the scoreboard with 1.1.

Sean Darcy
Was injured early in the first quarter and he played little part in the game.

Lloyd Meek
Played in the reserves in a full game in the ruck. Lloyd’s centre square bounce work was really strong -  he was able to give Peels’ mids first use and he was able to control the clearances around the ground.
