The Fremantle Football Club is delighted to confirm a new partnership with Insight Early Learning, a national company at the forefront of innovation in early childhood education which is developing three ‘Freo Kids’ active learning centres around the metropolitan area.

Freo Kids’ mission is to be at the forefront of innovation in early childhood education, preparing children for a lifetime of growth and learning.

Their state-of-the-art centres in Coogee, Kelmscott and Joondalup weave together nature, exploration and inspiration with an active healthy play program to encourage physical development and stimulate children's natural curiosity.

Through Fremantle’s partnership with Freo Kids, children who enrol will automatically become a Docker Tot (0-12 months) or Junior Member (1-5 years) of the Fremantle Dockers for the duration of their enrolment and receive their very own membership pack.

In addition, there will be visits from the club to the centres each year, including from Johnny and Jenny Docker.

Research has shown that children learn more physical movement skills during the first five years than at any other time of life.

Based on that research, Insight Early Learning is doing its part to establish high levels of physical activity for children and infants from birth to five years.

Through the alignment with Fremantle and Insight Early Learning, the partnership will position families to seek enrolment in external sports clubs.

"We are proud supporters of the Fremantle Dockers. At Freo Kids Early Learning, we are advocates for children’s health and wellbeing and an important part of our message involves the positive lifelong impact of a healthy, active lifestyle in the formative years,” said Sam Day, a representative for Freo Kids Early Learning.

“Our partnership with the Fremantle Dockers enables us to promote this important message to children and families in our community".

Fremantle’s chief commercial officer Scott Gooch said that the partnership was a natural alignment for the club.

“Fans and community are at the core of the club’s existence and we see our partnership with Insight Early Learning, through the Freo Kids centres, as an exciting opportunity to encourage active and healthy participation among young children,” Gooch said.

“We’re excited for these innovative centres to be up and running in the New Year and we can’t wait to see the next generation of Freo fans enjoying a fun-filled learning and play environment in their formative years.”
