Four of the top 10 performances from first year footballers in 2020 have been from a Fremantle Dockers player, according to Champion Data.

Three Fremantle Dockers players feature in the list of the best first-year performances in 2020 from thewest.com.au, including Caleb Serong’s impressive back-to-back games against Geelong in round eight and Collingwood in round nine.

Hayden Young’s round four performance against Gold Coast and Sam Sturt’s round one game against Essendon also rank in the top 10.

Both Serong (round eight) and Sturt (round one) have earned NAB AFL Rising Star nominations. 

Serong’s best two games rank third and fourth in the list.

Against Geelong, Serong had 118 rankings points for his 22 disposals, 10 contested possessions, seven tackles and one goal.

He had 114 rankings points against Collingwood for collecting 24 disposals, 14 contested possessions, nine clearances and six tackles.
