Exciting forward Liam Henry will make his AFL debut on Saturday night at Optus Stadium and the 18-year-old couldn’t be prouder to be doing so in a Fremantle jumper.
As the debut coincides with Sir Doug Nicholls Round the jumper will be an Indigenous guernsey designed by former Fremantle player Antoni Grover and his two sisters Nicole and Alicia.

Henry signed a two-year contract extension in March to remain a Freo Docker until at least the end of the 2023 season.
A part of Fremantle’s next Generation Academy since he was 16, Henry said the club meant a lot to him.
“Freo’s been there for me since the start with the NGA and they’ve been very welcoming,” Henry said.
“It’s a great club as the people around it make it so welcoming, the staff, the players and our members. They make us feel really welcome and at home and I’ve just really enjoyed it here and can’t wait to get started.”
In his time in Freo’s NGA he worked closely with NGA coach and former player Tendai Mzungu.
“Muz has been one person that I always go to with footy and even non-footy questions,” Henry said.
“He’s always given me honesty and the truth on what I can improve on. He’s put so much time and effort into me, through my journey, not just from when I was looking into footy but off field as well.
“He was always there, even at my school footy games at Christchurch watching my games, giving me information on what I can do to get better.
“He’s someone that I appreciate and the NGA has been a really good resource for myself and the next generation to come.”
