After the hugely successful first ever Freo Footprints program at Cockburn ARC, the Fremantle Dockers are proud to be delivering the program at two new venues in term two; Loftus Recreation Centre and Cannington Leisureplex starting in May!

Freo Footprints is a fundamental movement skill program for children aged 2-4.

The program encourages participation in running, jumping, balancing and the basic coordination skills of kicking and catching.

The seven-week program incorporates various forms of sporting equipment such as footballs, sponge balls, tennis balls and bean bags to enhance movement patterns. Each high-energy session runs for 30 minutes with no session being the same, allowing children to learn plenty of new skills and play lots of fun games!

Check out the fun from our Cockburn ARC term 1 program.

One day your child could be learning how to manoeuvre through a tricky obstacle course, the next kicking a goal like Michael Walters or Gemma Houghton!

The seven-week program ensures children are following a progression of motor skills essential for development as well as helping to transfer into AFL Auskick and other sport and recreation activities.

While our experienced Freo Footprints coaches will be there to teach the skills and deliver the sessions, this is a parent/child program, where parents are encouraged to be actively interacting with their child every step of the way and join in the fun.
