Two Fremantle players have been selected in the AFLW Players’ 22under22 team after impressive 2021 seasons.

Forward Sabreena Duffy and Defender Emma O’Driscoll have both been named on the interchange bench.

Both Duffy and O'Driscoll played every game of the home and away season as well as Fremantle's qualifying final against Melbourne.

Duffy kicked 10 goals in 2021, highlighted by her three-goal haul at Optus Stadium in the RAC Derby.

For Duffy, the selection into the 22under22 team is her second in as many years.

O'Driscoll shone as a role player down back and also went forward late in the season to play a limiting role on the opposition's best forwards.

The 22under22 team was finalised after fans were given the opportunity to vote and decide on the final squad of 22.

The awards season will continue on Tuesday night with the competition’s night of nights, as the AFL Women’s Best and Fairest player is awarded.
