2018 SUMMARY
A knee injury to Bradley Hill opened the door for Ed Langdon to shine as a running midfielder, with the 22-year-old starring in his fourth season at Fremantle. Langdon racked up 25 disposals or more on 12 occasions and totalled 21 games for the year after playing 25 in his opening three seasons. Langdon was one of Freo’s key ball movers in 2018, trailing only Lachie Neale for inside 50s, Nathan Wilson for metres gained and Luke Ryan for marks.

Season by Season

A knee injury shortened Langdon’s third season with Fremantle after playing in 10 of the opening 11 games of the season. The promising 22-year-old continued his development, showing his potential during a 32-disposal effort against West Coast in round six.

A strong second half of the season saw the promising mid elder average 20 disposals from his final seven games. Dominated for Peel in their Grand Final win, putting up a 39 disposal performance.

Langdon collected big numbers in the WAFL before debuting in round 22. He continues to impress with
his run through the midfield.
