Nathan Wilson will come in to play his 150th AFL game when Fremantle take on Port Adelaide on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

The defender will play his first game of 2022 in the clash which will also be fellow backman Luke Ryan’s 100th game.

Wilson and Michael Walters have been named on the field as Freo’s potential inclusions, while Connor Blakely, Mitch Crowden and Sam Sturt are also in the mix for inclusion after being named on the extended interchange.

The only out at this stage is Liam Henry, who has a hamstring injury. Fremantle’s final 22 will be confirmed on Friday at 3pm on fremantlefc.com.au.

The game will be Wilson’s 73rd for Fremantle after he played 77 games for GWS between 2012 and 2017.

The 29-year-old was an impressive performer for Fremantle over the summer and in their pre-season interclub games before sustaining a shoulder injury in a pre-season game against West Coast at Optus Stadium.

He has since been unable to break into Fremantle’s in-form backline, instead playing eight games for Peel where he’s averaged 17.4 disposals and 5.5 marks per game.

Wilson had a season-high 20 disposals in Peel’s most recent clash with East Fremantle at the WACA at the weekend.

Walters is Fremantle’s other likely inclusion after looking to have recovered well from a minor calf injury at training on Thursday.

"(Walters is) tracking well. He still has to tick the final box of main training and he has to be confident in his body, but he's tracking in the right direction," Senior Coach Justin Longmuir said ahead of Thursday’s training session.

The clash will be crucial for the fourth-placed Freo who are looking to firm up their finals hopes against the 12th placed Power.

Bouncedown is at 3.20pm and the game will be broadcast live into WA on Channel 7, Fox Footy and can be streamed on Kayo.
