Walyalup can confirm the Club will challenge Jaeger O’Meara’s one-week suspension at the AFL Tribunal.

The Club is heading into a bye in round 12, next playing in round 13 against Richmond on Saturday 10 June at Optus Stadium.

A time and date is yet to be finalised for the hearing, but it is set to occur this week.

The midfielder was charged with Rough Conduct (first offence) for his tackle on Charlie Spargo in the third quarter.

The incident has been graded as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact and has been sanctioned with a one-match suspension.
