The Fremantle Football Club is proud to announce the 23rd annual Starlight Purple Haze game, proudly presented by South32 - a heart-warming tradition cherished by players, staff, and the Purple Army alike.
Since its inception in 2003, this special fixture has become a highlight on the Fremantle calendar.
Over the past 23 years, the Starlight Purple Haze game, proudly presented by South32, has achieved remarkable milestones. In 2024 alone, the Club and its supporters raised an incredible $473,114, pushing the total funds raised for the Starlight Children’s Foundation beyond $3.4 million.
These contributions have helped brighten the lives of countless children facing serious illness, providing them with moments of happiness and much-needed support during challenging times.
To mark this year’s game, Fremantle will once again don a special jumper that captures the spirit of the occasion.
The middle chevron of Freo’s iconic home guernsey has been transformed into a dazzling array of Starlight stars - adding a sprinkle of magic and hope to the purple.
These limited-edition jumpers are now available online and in-store at The Dock, the Club’s official team store.
A portion of each jumper sale goes directly to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
The Starlight Purple Haze game, proudly presented by South32, is about more than just football - it’s about coming together as a community to make a difference.
Fans can pledge any dollar amount for each goal Fremantle kicks during the match. Thanks to the generous support of South32, all pledges will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 - doubling the impact of every donation.
Every person who makes a pledge will go into the draw to win a 2025 Starlight jumper signed by all nine of the Club’s Starlight ambassadors, including Andy Brayshaw, Caleb Serong, Jye Amiss and Hayley Miller.
