Fremantle will welcome 16 Live the Dream participants next Wednesday 18 July when the exciting program, which is proudly supported by Decmil Australia, gets underway.

Live the Dream is a once in a lifetime opportunity for 16 young Australians to become immersed in the culture of the Fremantle Dockers Football Club and ‘live the life’ of an AFL player for five days.

Live the Dream offers participants a rare opportunity to develop skills and behaviours that can deliver long-term benefits to the individual and their local community.

The program runs from 18-22 July and thanks to Decmil Australia, the cost of the program for the participants is free, including meals, accommodation and apparel.

Eight Fremantle Dockers’ players will act as mentors for the boys during the program.

Meet Jared Win, one of the lucky young men who has been given the opportunity to ‘Live the Dream’.

Jared is a 16-year-old from Port Hedland who attends Hedland Senior High School.

Jared said Live the Dream would help him in a number of ways.

“The program will help me develop new friendships, become a better leader within my team and community and help me further understand the AFL system,” he said.
