There was plenty of support at Fremantle Oval on Tuesday morning as several hundred members and fans came down to watch the team train ahead of the qualifying final.

After being rested last weekend, David Mundy, Nat Fyfe, Hayden Ballantyne and Chris Mayne all trained strongly.

The Fremantle defence took a hit with Ross Lyon confirming on 6PR last night that Clancee Pearce will take no further part in Freo’s finals campaign.

Key defender Garrick Ibbotson who missed the St Kilda game last Saturday after failing a fitness test prior to the game, was also missing from the track, as was Michael Johnson.

Luke McPharlin and Michael Walters made a brief appearance at the beginning of training. They did a short warm up before leaving the track.

After being ruled out of the St Kilda game, Nick Suban joined Lee Spurr, Zac Dawson and Zac Clarke in the main training group.

The team will hold it’s final closed training session on Thursday morning ahead of the match against Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Saturday 7 September at 2.20pm (EST).
