The 16 Live the Dream participants enjoyed a fun evening with their eight player mentors at a team building session.

Freo’s Esplanade Hotel played host as player mentors Chris Mayne, Zac Clarke, Colin Sylvia, Tommy Sheridan, Hayden Crozier, Nick Suban, Paul Duffield and Stephen Hill ensured the youngsters got their once in a lifetime experience off to a memorable start.

After dinner, all involved participated in a series of fun games and challenges.

And as always, Mayne and Suban’s competitive juices took over as the pair accused each other of everything from cheating to collusion.

There was a game involving a ping-pong ball and a straw. Competitors had to blow the ball from one end of the room to the other.

While the footballers are usually quite fast on the footy field, the same couldn't be said for this challenge.

A brainteaser challenge had everyone thinking hard, including a question about a sundial that had Sheridan asking what a sundial was.

The program continues on Saturday morning when the participants get put through a boot camp.
