Current member-elected director of the Fremantle board Peter Mann’s two-year term expires on 30 November, 2014. This was Mann’s first term as a member elected director after being elected in 2012. The former club captain and Doig Medallist has indicated his intention to seek a further term as a member-elected director representative. The club is extremely proud of the fact that two members of the Board of Directors are elected by the club’s membership for two-year terms.

Ben Allan is the second of the two member-elected representatives. His term expires on 30 November, 2015. Allan will be unable to seek re-election under the club’s constitution because by that time he will have served the maximum term allowable.

Nominations for candidates to serve a two-year term as a member-elected director of the board of the Fremantle Football Club open on Tuesday 30 September, 2014 and close at 12 noon on Tuesday 14 October, 2014.

If there is more than one approved nominee an online voting process will commence at 9 am on Monday 3 November, 2014 and close at 5 pm on Monday 24 November, 2014.

The result will be announced at the club’s Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday 25 November, 2014, with the successful candidate starting their two-year term on 1 December, 2014.

The ballot will be overseen by Computershare, which has conducted the club’s annual poll for a member-elected director since 2007. Voting club members will receive all information on the election directly from the Fremantle Football Club after it is posted on or about Friday 24 October, 2014.
