The Freo Dockers play their first intra-club game of the year at Fremantle Oval this Saturday and your support is needed for community event partner Manna Inc.

The Perth-based charity provides vital services to the homeless and underprivileged children and the Family Fun Day is the launch of the club’s partnership with the organisation.

We would appreciate a donation of coloured pencils, lead pencils, wind up crayons, textas, glue sticks or pencil cases for underprivileged kids.

Look out for the van taking equipment donations and for the volunteers at the ground in Manna Inc. t-shirts.

The Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday 21 February and fans are encouraged to attend what is sure to be a great afternoon of footy and fun.

Gates open at 3.30pm, with the intra-club game beginning at 4pm.

The kids can meet Johnny ‘The Doc’ Docker and his sister Jenny, plus there’ll be face painting.

Best of all, it’s free!

Fans will also have the opportunity to help make the banner for our round one Starlight Purple Haze game supported by Fremantle Ports.

Freo takes on Port Adelaide on Easter Sunday, 5 April at Domain Stadium (formerly Patersons Stadium) and you can post your message to the team on the banner.

Meet the banner team in the Griff John Room at the South Fremantle Football Club to take part. All craft supplies will be provided.
