Fremantle will travel to Sydney’s Drummoyne Oval to take on the Swans in the club’s second match of the NAB Challenge series.

FREO STARS RETURN TO TAKE ON SYDNEY

It will be the first time both teams have played each other since last year’s Qualifying Final, where the Swans ran out 24-point winners.

Fremantle’s first NAB Challenge hit-out of 2015 was a solid display to defeat Melbourne by 18 points at Fremantle Oval.

Freo started with Tanner Smith and Connor Blakely as the two subs, with the latter coming on very late and managing just the one touch.

It will be interesting to see whether coach Ross Lyon opts to give the youngster more game time against Sydney following an impressive practice match hit-out with Peel Thunder last week.

In that game, Blakely and fellow new recruit Lachie Weller combined for 51 disposals between them.

Sydney lost its opening NAB Challenge by 36 points against a new-look Brisbane Lions outfit.

The Swans’ impressive midfield of Kieran Jack, Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker were among their best, so they will need some close attention this Sunday.

TALKING POINTS
1. Sandi’s square: Fremantle’s recent intra-club match saw four-time All Australian ruckman Aaron Sandilands trialled in the goal square as a forward. Expect to see him get more a run down there as a marking option.

2. Fyfe’s favourites: Superstar Nat Fyfe loves playing against Sydney. In both games against the Swans last year, Fyfe recorded more than 29 disposals.

3. Buddy’s back: Last year’s Qualifying Final was broken wide open after two late goals from Lance Franklin. The superstar has been included in Sydney’s squad.
