Get ready for an explosive match day experience at Fremantle home games in 2015.

Fireworks, a march to the ground for fans, a beefed-up pre-game video package and enhanced players’ entrance to the field are just some of the new elements that will be experienced during the upcoming season.

A fireworks display from the NAB Stand will also be lighting up Domain Stadium should Freo win as AC/DC classic “TNT” is played around the ground.

To bring the home crowd right into it, the vision of the players singing the song after a win will be also broadcast on the big screens and to people watching at home.

In the event of a win, one lucky fan will also be presented with the DTE Group match ball and be treated to an unforgettable experience with the players in the change rooms after the game.

Other activations include using the LED signage to display “Time on, Game on” at the 20-minute mark of each quarter to create further engagement for the crowd.

General manager business operations David Pitts said the club was looking forward to rolling out the new initiatives, beginning this Sunday.

“We have been leaders in match day entertainment for some time and we really want to make sure our members and fans continue to have a memorable day at the footy,” he said.

“We want our supporters to have a Fremantle ‘experience’ from the moment they walk into the precinct and continue that in the stadium during the game and post-match.

“Due to the incredible passion displayed by the Purple Army, Fremantle games are renowned for their incredible atmosphere and we believe these initiatives will really help enhance that experience.”

Fremantle takes on Port Adelaide at Domain Stadium on Easter Sunday, 5 April.
