Fremantle has made one change for its match against Essendon at Domain Stadium on Saturday night with veteran defender Luke McPharlin ruled out.
 
McPharlin has calf soreness and will be replaced by debutant Alex Pearce.

The promising tall defender has impressed for Peel this year and will be Fremantle’s first debutant in 2015.
 
The big-bodied 200cm defender was recruited from Devonport, Tasmania at pick 37 in the 2013 National Draft.
