Midfielder Michael Barlow says it is a privilege to play with Fremantle’s current playing group.

Barlow was again impressive with 30 touches in Fremantle’s 73-point win over North Melbourne at Domain Stadium.

He said he has to pinch himself every so often, when he considers whom he lines up to each week.

“It’s a really privilege to play with this group,” he said.

“Every now and then you have to pinch yourself and acknowledged who you are playing with and how well it’s going.”

Barlow singled out fellow midfielder David Mundy, as one of the player he is most in awe of.

Mundy revealed he had 20 stiches above his eye last week, including four under the skin, after he copped a bump in last Sunday’s win against the Bulldogs.

“It was a really good effort from Dave Mundy, who had the head clash last week, to get up and play no differently to normal,” he said.

“He was one of our best, if not the best on the night.”
