A week after playing his 250th AFL game, Luke McPharlin will reach another milestone this round.

McPharlin will move into second place on Fremantle’s all-time games record list with 239 games, if he plays against Carlton at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.

The All Australian defender has played 238 games for Fremantle, equalling Shane Parker’s record.

Captain Matthew Pavlich is the club’s games record holder with 327 matches.

McPharlin played 12 games for Hawthorn between 2000 and 2001 before he was traded to Fremantle.

Teammates Aaron Sandilands and David Mundy sit third and fifth respectively on the list.
