Being able to name the most Freo Docker players was the test undertaken by a group of year 5 students from Riverton Primary on Friday afternoon at the Skills 4 Schools Semi Finals at Fremantle Oval.

Eleven was the winning number, with Kirsten Dinsdale the winning student.

The 11-year-old who attends Riverton Primary and plays basketball for the Jets at Willetton Basketball Stadium, said she was the biggest Freo fan in her class.

“Today has been really fun, I have competed in the Long Bomb, Kwik Quick and Fast Ball," Kirsten said.

Freo youngster, Ed Langdon was on hand to conduct the semi-finals of the competition.

Langdon said he really enjoyed being involved the afternoon.

“It’s a good way to see some of the young talent coming through, the kids loved taking part in all the competitions,” Langdon said.

The 19-year-old is currently studying architecture at UWA.

“I have always liked design and that sort of stuff,  so I knew it was what I wanted to do after school,” Langdon said.

Similar to 11-year-old Kirsten, Langdon said his favourite subject at school was phys ed.

“Without a doubt it was always good to get out of the class and have a run around," he said.

Langdon said studying and playing AFL was a bit of a handful at the start but has since managed to find it a little easier.

“It’s like everything, once you get organised and focus on it, it’s not too difficult,” Langdon said.

“I think if you have a strong off-field I have no doubt you are playing better football.

“They work pretty well together, footy takes your mind off study and study takes your mind off footy.
