Fremantle defender Zac Dawson has accepted a two-match suspension for striking Giants’ forward Jeremy Cameron in Sunday’s win.

Dawson was cited by the MRP for the first quarter incident that forced Cameron from the field with a bloodied face.

The MRP classified the incident as careless contact with high impact to the head.

Dawson’s sanction was reduced from three weeks to two weeks with an early guilty plea.

He will be available to play North Melbourne in Round 21.

Dawson and David Mundy also each accepted a $1000 sanction for engaging in a melee in the final quarter.

GWS's Jeremy Cameron and Toby Greene both accepted fines over the same incident.
