Fremantle’s Zac Clarke and Clancee Pearce were both reported for striking during Saturday’s Peel Thunder win over Perth.

Clarke will be unavailable for selection Fremantle and Peel after he was handed a one-match ban for striking Perth’s Brett Wolfenden. The incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and high contact.

Player stats: Saturday 22 August

Under the WAFL’s table of penalties, the offence was classified as a three-match suspension however, Clarke has no applicable poor record and, with an early guilty plea, the sanction is reduced to one match.

Clancee Pearce’s penalty won’t see him miss any football. Due to his good record, he can accept a reprimand for striking Perth’s Dene White. The first-quarter incident was assessed as intentional conduct and low impact to the body.
