Fremantle veteran defender Michael Johnson says Fremantle will back its game plan for the rest of the season, despite two consecutive losses.

Johnson said Fremantle should have won Sunday’s game against North Melbourne but made too many costly skill errors and turned the ball over.

“We played a quality side…but what cost us is composure with the ball and not taking our chances up forward,” he said.

Demons still a danger: Johnno

“We coughed it up too much.

“We’ve played two quality sides over the past two weeks.

“It’s about getting into a routine of playing consistent footy.”

Johnson said there would not be any major changes to its game plan but rather small tweaks.

“We back our game plan and structure,” he said.

Determined to return

“We’re going in the right direction.

“We’re always trying to improve our game.

“Getting it inside 50 before the opposition role back is one area.

“Being more bold with the ball (is another).”
