Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe is a finalist in the Coates Hire Goal of the Year for a spectacular one-man effort against Port Adelaide.

The goal was a moment of football brilliance.

Fyfe received a handball from Chris Mayne deep in the left-forward pocket at Domain Stadium in the round one clash.

He made a quick 180-degree turn towards goal, before crumbing a handball to himself.

Fyfe then collected the ball off the ground near the behind point, darting back inside, he snapped at goal but a Port player smothered it.

Remarkably, Fyfe then picked up the ball again and finished the goal from the square.

Jordan Murdoch (Geelong) and Eddie Betts (Adelaide) were also nominated.
