Current member-elected director Ben Allan’s two-year term expires on 30 November, 2015. This was Allan’s final term as a member elected director, having served the maximum term allowable under the club’s constitution.

The club is extremely proud of the fact that two members of the Board of Directors are elected by the club’s membership for two-year terms.

Peter Mann is the second of the two member-elected representatives. His term expires on 30 November, 2016. 

As reported in The West Australian newspaper recently, former club captain and Doig Medallist Peter Bell has indicated his intention to seek election as a member-elected director on the board of the Fremantle Football Club.  A dual premiership player with North Melbourne, Bell played 163 games for Fremantle and 123 games for the Kangaroos. He was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame in season 2015.

Nominations for candidates to serve a two-year term as a member-elected director of the board of the Fremantle Football Club open at 9am on Tuesday 29 September, 2015 and close at 12 noon on Tuesday 13 October, 2015.

If there is more than one approved nominee an online voting process will commence at  9am on Tuesday 3 November, 2015 and close at 5pm on Tuesday 24 November, 2015.

The result will be announced at the club’s Annual Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 25 November, 2015, with the successful candidate starting their two-year term on 1 December, 2015.

The ballot will be overseen by Computershare, which has conducted the club’s annual poll for a member-elected director since 2007. Voting club members will receive all information on the election directly from the Fremantle Football Club after it is posted on or about Friday 23 October, 2015.
