Fremantle Dockers ruckman Aaron Sandilands suffered a punctured lung after a collision with Nic Naitanui during Saturday’s game against West Coast.
Losing Sandi not the difference
The incident occurred early in the second quarter as Sandilands ran back with the flight of the ball, when he received a knee to the back from Naitanui.
Sandilands walked off the ground shortly after and took no further part in the game. He was later transported to hospital.
