During Friday nights clash between Fremantle and Geelong at Domain Stadium, four very special Auskick teams will take to the ground at the half-time break.

The Auskick teams will be comprised of deaf children with a range of hearing impairment, including children with Cochlear implants, Auslan signing children and others who use hearing aids.

The teams are also coached and assisted by people with significant hearing loss.

According to the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children, one in 1000 babies are born with significant hearing loss and by school age, two in every 1000 children will have been identified with hearing loss. There are more than 12,000 children nation wide with significant hearing impairment.
